Greenhouse bases & groundwork
When building your greenhouse you require a level base.
We have included within this page, details of the base sizes for all of the
most common greenhouses and lean-to’s that we manufacture. [ See documents
list below ]
A concrete pad or area made from slabs will be adequate as the base material.
It is not recommended that you fit the greenhouses directly onto the earth.
When fitting a lean-to greenhouse make sure that the wall onto which the building
is to be fitted is both vertical and at 90 degrees to the base. If it is not,
wooden battens may be necessary to correct the misalignment.
All fittings are supplied to build up the greenhouse. However, we do not supply
the fixing down bolts as standard. They are available on request.
